What is the Finnish Mechanical Keyboard Community?
I’m one of the founders and a main administrator of FMKC. Despite the first organized meetup in Finland having only three participants, we’ve managed to gain attention meetup after meetup. After each gathering, the community grew steadily.
Today, FMKC brings together:
- Over 1,300 Discord members
- Several active Finnish keyboard vendors
- Meetups that have steadily grown the community

The Finnish Mechanical Keyboard Community used to have all their previous event info and links on my site, but over time, as the amount of data grew, I felt it no longer belonged on olli.works. I built fmkc.fi for this purpose and made it open source, accepting Git pull requests with a low barrier to entry.
